Southern ENT Associates is a large, six location practice based in Thibodaux, Louisiana, seeking a full-time audiologist. Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) preferred, however qualified candidates with a Master’s degree will be considered. Eligibility for Louisiana State Licensure is required. ASHA certification and a desire to supervise fourth year graduate students in the future is also preferred.
We are a fast paced clinic with six board-certified Otolaryngology physicians and two nurse practitioners. Serving patients in the area since 1975, the experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, and technicians offer great skill and extensive training in treating conditions of the ear, nose, larynx, and upper respiratory tract. Peers highly regard our physicians as experts in their fields, with several being recognized as “TOP DOCS” by New Orleans Magazine.
We have an excellent audiology staff including three full time audiologists and two part time audiologists. Our clinic offers a wide range of ancillary services as well, including allergy and sleep medicine. Our diagnostic audiology services include comprehensive audiometric evaluations on pediatrics and adults, VNGs, neurologic ABRs and ECOGs. In addition, we see Baha and tinnitus patients in addition to traditional hearing aid patients.
The candidate should have experience in adult and pediatric audiometry, balance testing, and hearing aid sales and dispensing. This position offers a well-rounded experience in most areas of Audiology. In addition, the candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and be a self-starter.
This full-time position is for our Thibodaux location. Thibodaux is a university town located approximately 60 miles southeast of New Orleans, Louisiana. The city and surrounding areas offer a rich culture, stable economy and low cost of living. The city is also known for its nationally acclaimed medical facilities.
